The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has said his administration is committed to increasing access to education.
The Chairman stated this yesterday while playing host to outstanding pupils who put the LCDA on the global map by coming first in different top-notch educational competitions.
Mayor Dele noted that the event was borne out of the need to celebrate hardworking students, describing them as resilient hereos, who weathered the storm and came out blazing.
The champions include Miss Ewaade Feyigbemi Adebowale of Alapere Primary School, who emerged as the overall best in Y2021 Lafarge Africa National Essay Competition. She was awarded a Trophy, 1.5 million and some gift Items.
Also on the delegation was a class of pupils from Apostolic Primary School, Ketu who came first in the Primary School Category at the Y2021, Lagos State Ministry of Justice Annual Human Rights Schools Competition Tagged; Child Labour. The School was given a generating set.
