The National Social Safety Net Coordinating Office (NASSCO) With Lagos Sate Operations Coordinating Unit (LASOCU) has captured data of thousands of vulnerable residents in Kosofe.
The National Social register excercise identified the poor and vulnerable in different communities in Kosofe geared program towards proper planning and budget for Federal and State Government.
The excercise which earlier took in Oworonshoki area of Kosofe Local Government in 2020 finally birth in Anthony Village where several Community Development Association members where captured in their hundreds.
The final excercise in the community took place at Oseni, Sylvia crescent, Odunlami CDA close to 300 Vulnerable and poor persons were identified and captured.
The team leader for Kosofe Local Government, Oladele Femi and his team work till late hours as our correspondent monitored the excercise on Saturday.
Earlier, many residents troupe in their large numbers who thought excercise is meant for sharing some moneymisconceptions and misperceptions was corrected the through sensitization held before the commencement of the excercise.
The Executive chairman, Oseni Sylvia Odunlami CDA, Mr Olalekan Odujirin commend LASOCU led by Mr. Femi.
He further extend his appreciation to CDA Executives for their unwavering supports and the residents for the orderliness and successful data capturing for each household and the community at Large for future benefit.
