Nothing spectacular about FFK

He attended a private school because his father was a politician.
I attended a public school because my father was a business man and struggling then.

I went to Lagelu grammar school in ibadan, he went to Cambridge University in England.

He started taking drugs in England. I don’t even know what drugs was called then in Nigeria. My parent never allowed me to leave them at a tender age.

He came back to Nigeria and was appointed minister.
I went to Europe and became the first black man to start a Newspaper in Republic of Ireland. Was later decorated as the best black crime reporter in Europe 2004-2006.

“With all due respect, there is nothing, absolutely nothing spectacular about Femi Fani-Kayode’s curriculum vitae. His credentials cannot be intimidating.
I have just checked him out once again and I find that while he was privileged to be educated in England, many of us were educated here in Nigeria.
There is no record of his work experience anywhere whatsoever, except for his temporal associations with politicians dating back to the Babangida third republic politics.
Femi Fani-Kayode trained as a lawyer, but one would have been delighted to read about the landmark legal tussles he was engaged in.
He has been a career lay-about and an opportunist who has lived his whole life ingratiating himself to the political establishment. That cannot be classified as “intimidating credentials, Sir. He was a nuisance of a rottweiler during the early days of the Obasanjo administration. Typically, he was a loud mouthed critic of Obasanjo, until he was pacified with an appointment as Special Assistant to Obasanjo in 2003. Effectively, I was a four years senior to him in that government, much as my brief was basically undercover.
When the Osun State ministerial position became vacant in June 2006, Obasanjo sent him to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Just before Christmas that year, he was redeployed to the Aviation Ministry. That is the expired nomenclatural necklace he has been wearing for 15 years now.
He abandoned the APC midstream in 2014, just after nine months in the party, and took up a contract to serve as mouthpiece of the Jonathan presidential campaign. I have it on good authority that Femi Fani-Kayode slammed a bill of over a billion naira on Jonathan for that assignment. But as a good-lifer, he mismanaged that fortune.
Except for his affected accent which he over dramatises, and with which he has always hoodwinked people less gifted and intelligent than him, like Yahaya Bello and Mai Mala Buni, Femi Fani-Kayode’s resumè is at best vacuous.
It would have been nice to see his career progression either in the private or public sectors, or as an entrepreneur.
But critically, he has invested his energies over time as a mercenary and treacherous character.”
