The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to placing high premium on healthcare delivery.
The chairman made this disclosure while declaring open a 3-day free eye program initiated by his administration at Mascara Health Centre, Ketu.
The free eye care program running consecutively for three days will feature free examination, free glasses, free consultation and referral of secondary cases and distribution of free ophthalmic drugs.
Speaking on importance of the program, the representative of the council mayor, the Medical Health Officer, Dr. Adeleke Awolesi noted that the exercise was a necessary intervention for residents of the LCDA to improve their sights.
To demonstrate the passion of the present administration in achieving a robust quality healthcare, Awolesi hinted that plans are in top gear to recruit more health workers in complimenting the existing workforce recruited by the Mayor Dele Oshinowo led-administration and the remaining staff on the payroll of the Lagos State Government.
