Mr. Atanda Segun has urged the Kosofe Local Government Legislative Arm to rescind it’s decision and appoint Mr. Olalekan Akala who was earlier nominated for the Revenue Chairman office.
The pleas was made during conversations with the Kosofe Post on Friday evening.
Atanda urged the legislators not to dabble into business transation between the petitioner and the debtor. Adding that the petitioner to approach the apt quarters for necessary action in other to receive the money, if there is any.
Speaking further he said Akala is the right man to assist the new administration to help retrieve revenues going to private individuals pockets at the detriment of Kosofe Local Government.
“The Executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government that nominated him is a legal practitioner by professional he would have done a thorough background check before nominating Mr. Akala. He added, “
“The Chairman have the right to renominate him.”
Recall Kosofe Post earlier reported that the former Supervisor Councilor for Environment, Mr. Olalekan Akala nomination was rejected based on the petitions submitted against him.
