Kosofe Local Government Legislative Arm under the leadership of Honorable Idowu Oluloro has rejected the nomination of Honourable Olalekan Akala as revenue chairman over 8M debt.
Akala was rejected for following 8Million debt petition submitted to the Kosofe Local Government Legislative Chamber yesterday.
While appearing during his screening exercise following his nomination by Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Moyo Ogunlewe as Revenue Chairman he had denied owing anyone.
However, when the petitioner later appeared before the council chamber he admitted owing 1.3million, not 8 Million as contained in the petition.
Akala confirmation was turn down on the grounds of the petitions submitted to the house.
