There are about twelve aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress that will contest for Kosofe Federal Constituency seat in 2023.
The incumbent lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency Rotimi Agunsoye, who is currently serving his second term in office is among candidates rumoured interested in third term ticket.

Although, ROT as he’s fondly called is yet to declare his ambition. However, He was earlier endorsed for third term by the speaker of House of Representatives, Rtd Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and his numerous supporters during his 59th birthday few months ago at CMD Magodo, Lagos.
The Pioneer Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area and the current Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment; Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke is another heavyweight aspirant our sources confirmed will be on the match again.
She attempted the seat in 2019. She, however succumbed to the party supremacy in favoured of Agunsoye.
The 2007 People’s Democratic Party House of Representatives Candidate, and current Commissioner for State Audit Service Commission, Kafilat Ogbara is one of the aspirants reportedly positioning to succeed ROT.
