Rotimi Agunsoye trains 400 Constituents, Presents Cheque of N100, 000 to each beneficiaries

Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye representing Kosofe Federal constituency, has trained 400 members of his constituency on poultry farming, shoemaking and fashion design, and also empowered each of them with 100,000 as start-up capital.
The presentation of the certificates and cheques to the beneficiaries was held at Funflex event Centre, Magodo GRA, Kosofe, Lagos On Tuesday.
The Lawmaker previously has embarked on weeks long empowerment programmes earlier shared cash to widows, trained constituency member on ICT( E-marketing) , and also shared laptops to over 70 persons.
While addressing his constituents Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye said,” those who are yet to benefit from his gesture should be reminded that some benefited from his first 2021 first quarter empowerment while some are just benefiting from 4th quarter edition. He, however, assured that nobody will be left out.
“In a couple of weeks time, another programme is coming up it will be for some of you on the waiting list I called that programme Bugatti empowerment, he noted.
Beyond his rated quality representation he further assured constituents of more capacity building initiative such as quality skills acquisition training, participants empowerment to initiate business cycle and provide networks supports that will enhance their economy power among others.
Governor Babajide Sanwoolu ably represented by Senior Special Adviser on Women Affairs, Mrs. Funmi Adegoke, Chairman House Committee on Education, Honourable Sanni Okanlawon, APC State Chairman, Honourable Sunday Ojelabi, Governor’s Advisory Council Members, Kosofe Local Government Chairman Moyo Ogunlewe, Agboyi Ketu Lcda Mayor Dele Osinowo, Traditional leaders, Political stalwarts, Chairman/CEO BISCON Communications, Prince Bisi Olatilo among others.
In his remarks, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi applaud the lawmaker for toeing and sustaining the progressives foundation laid by Chief Obafemi Awolowo and APC National leader Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu in Southwest Nigeria by impacting on People’s lives.
Governor Babajide Sanwoolu in his goodwill message appreciated the Lawmaker for the initiative,” Training and empowerment programme for the Youths and women of Kosofe Federal Constituency Lagos State.”
“Today I specially appreciate Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye for intiative he has taken to organize this training and empowerment programme to alleviate poverty, Empowerment women and youths to be financially and economically independent.”
He described the lawmaker gesture as exemplary act worthy appreciating and applauding. He added,” You are not Just representing Lagos State well but you are also complimenting government efforts in the area of economy development and empowerment.”
He said the continuous economy Empowerment of thousands of Youths and Women as self Sustainable is noteworthy.
He congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to make judicious use of the start up capital.
Dignitaries at the programme described the empowerment programme as the first of its kind in Kosofe. A member of the GAC, Omoba Ademuyiwa Sosanya noted with the numbers of the beneficiaries he was flabbergasted.
“If I am wrong, correct me, I think Rotimi will be the fourth House of Representatives representing us this is the first time I am seeing things like this.”
He implored the beneficiaries to avoid unnecessary social functions. He pleads with them to use the money judiciously to turn their lives around.”
A beneficiary Mrs. Afolabi Foluke said the Lawmaker cash empowerment will assist in boosting her subsisting business.
She thanked and prayed for the parliamentarian for his kind gesture to all the beneficiaries.
