Kosofe Local Government Vice Chairman, Babatunde Saliu staged Royal burial ceremony for his late father Oloworo of Oworo, Hrm Oba Bashru Oloruntoyin Saliu, Elebo 1 amidst Monarchical rites ‘Ipebi’

It was initially reported that in preparation to ascend the throne of his father he alongside his elder brother, Nurudeen Olalekan are contesting, for that he went for 90 days Traditional seclusion.

On Monday, 27th December he held the event under a fully air-conditioned mounted Marque tent at the sand filled open space near Oloworo palace where Juju Music Maestro King Sunny Ade entertained several dignitaries in attendance.

A Source disclosed to the Kosofe Post that contrary to the narratives that Babatunde was in seclusion called Ipebi at Magodo area of Kosofe that he traveled out of the country.

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Moyo Ogunlewe, political class, Special Advisers to Lagos government, Traditional leaders, politicians and many others attend the event.

It would be recalled that two months ago the self acclaimed Oba Elect of Oworonshoki, Nurudeen Olalekan Saliu and other faction of the Elebo Royal family who claimed to be majority held separate Burial ceremony for the late Oloworo where Musiliu Haruna Ishola, a popular Apala musician thrilled the guests as well.
