The People’s Democratic Party candidate for 2015 Kosofe Constituency 2 Lagos State House of Assembly, Francis Adebayo has confirmed that he will be contesting the seat on the platform of PDP in 2023
He made the disclosure while speaking to Kosofe Post after handling over of the renovated Ogo Oluwa Nursery and primary School at Jesu Oyingbo area of Mile 12, Kosofe on Thursday.
He said, “definitely I will be contesting in 2023 for House of Assembly for Kosofe Constituency 2 under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.”
He noted that if he could do the little he is currently doing as a member of the society that’s not in Governance, that he believed he could do more if given the PDP ticket and becomes a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly by God’s Grace.”
Speaking on the status of unity among PDP members: He Said,’ Thankfully things are beginning to take shape within PDP, our leaders are reconciling. I am so excited that reconciliation is taken place already. At my level, off course, we are also trying to bring everybody that has had one grievance or the other together. A party as big as PDP definitely there would be grievances, we are trying to make sure that everybody we are all on the same page.”
He added that the party efforts are yielding tremendous results because 2023 is the party year.
He further enjoined residents of Kosofe to disregard the ruling party, All Progressives Congress serial claims that no opposition, Kosofe is one Party Local Government among others.
Furthermore, he added,” they won’t see us coming they can make all the noise, but we know what we are doing.”
