Moyo Ogunlewe Commissions phase 2 of Multiple roads construction in Kosofe

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyo Ogunlewe has commissioned the phase 2 of the multiple road projects he embarked on within the 6 months in office.

Recalls Kosofe post reports that the Chairman’s immediately he assumed office about 6 months ago approved 10 roads project across the Wards.

He commissioned phase 1 of the project with drainages include Awanatu Street, Oworoshoki, Ogundairo Street, Oworoshoki. Baale Close Oworoshoki. Julius Kadri Street, Ifako-Gbagada and Aran-Orin, Ifako-Gbagada area of Kosofe Local Government.

The newly completed phase 2 with drainages include Abayomi Odubena Str. Ojota, araromi str. Ogudu, Idowu Dada And , Ajoke Str. Ogudu and Abioye Street, Mende respectively.

While addressing pressmen at one of the project commissioning ceremony at Araromi street, Ogudu on Wednesday, Honourable Moyo Ogunlewe described it as promises made, promises kept.

He admonished residents, motorists, computers and other road user to take the ownership of the newly constructed across Kosofe.

“The CDA’s should take over the ownership of the roads is an important task for them to make sure that there’s security of the road.”

He noted government are saddled with the responsibility of providing the basic infrastructural facility for them, he urged the CDA’s to ensure that the roads are put to a good use.

A resident, Alhaji Yusuf Ayinla Aka Baba Abioye, Whose street at Abioye Mende Maryland was among the roads Commissioned commended the Council Chairman’s for fixing the long abandoned street. The Elated Baba Abioye prayed for the success of Moyo Ogunlewe led Administration.

In a separate interviews the leader in council and councilor representing Anthony Village, Councilor Idowu Oluloro, Councilor Sulyman Baruwa representing Ojota and Councilor Ibrahim Adebare representing Ogudu and Alhaji Kehinde Belo, All Progresives Congress Kosofe Local Government Area Chairman for for fulfilling his promises in a record time.

Oluloro described the Chairman’s as a performing Chairman who has been given residents dividance of democracy since assumption of office. He appealed to residents across the newly Commissioned roads to make good use of the roads.
