A PDP Aspirant, Kosofe Constituency 02 of the House of Assembly, Mr Francis Adebayo had been reached out to, by at least two different political parties to contest under their platforms.
Kosofe post has reliable gathered from different credible sources in Lagos during the weekend.
Adebayo, was also the 2015 PDP candidate for Kosofe Constituency 2 of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
NAN gathered that he was also 2015 PDP Candidate for Kosofe Constituency 2
Kosofe post recalled sometime ago how Pastor Mrs Odunsi who happened to be Francis Adebayo god-mother in kosofe politics sold him out. 11
She literally made him lose that seat to a far less popular candidate, Ibrahim Balogun.
Kosofe Post confided that they were told there is no way Ibrahim would have won the primary election without the betrayal by Pastor Mrs Odunsi.
“This is with active support of Alhaji Rahman Owokoniran who called all the delegate on the day of primary election and threatened them heavily and also enticed them with money.
“One of our sources also revealed that Francis is yet to make up his mind even as he has started engaging with the wards to say thank you to the people that supported him during the campaign for the primary election and to let people know he won’t leave PDP.
“We also gathered that Alhaji Rahman Owokoniran doesn’t like Francis Adebayo for any reason even though Francis belongs to his group.
” He (Rahman) hasn’t hidden his hatred for him and has vowed that he will never get anything in PDP kosofe. It is believed that Francis is too independent minded and might not dance to his tune.
“Alhaji Rahman hasn’t for once called Francis since he lost the primary confirming his disdain for Francis Adebayo, we were reliably informed.
It is also reliably revealed to us that several persons within and outside PDP are ready to fund Francis elections should he make up his mind to leave PDP.
Another angle to this whole episode is that Francis is quite close to Mrs Florence Adepegba, the PDP candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, who will not be excited at the exit of Francis from PDP.
We tried reaching out to Francis on some of this information but he politely decided to decline speaking to us on his next move.
