APC crisis deepen in Ikosi Isheri as faction loyal to HoR member holds parallel LGA meeting

A faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikosi Isheri held a parallel meeting on Thursday, July 27, 2022.

The faction loyal to the member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos, Honourable Rotimi Agunsoy, led by Hon. Seyi Oduwofokan, is challenging the other faction of the party led by Alhaji Alli Olatubosun, who enjoyed the support of Ikosi Isheri Lcda Chairman, Samiat Bada.

The group LGA meeting coincided with the one-year anniversary of the Ikosi Isheri council chairman in office, which further revealed that things are still falling apart ahead of the 2023 general elections among the political gladiators.

The Kosofe Post reports that there have been claims and counterclaims over APC Ikosi Isheri, LCDA and LGA authentic chairman, with both factions claiming him.

Also, in Kosofe, political meetings were disrupted and the APC LGA Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Belo, and executives were attacked by sponsored hoodlums over allegations of tampering with the original party executive list.
