The All Progressives Congress, APC, Ikosi Isheri Chapter, led by Mr. Seyi Odufowokan, held a parallel LGA General Assembly in Lagos.

The faction meeting geared towards the 2023 general elections took place at Ketu on Thursday.

The self-aclaimed Ikosi Isheri LGA APC Party Chairman, Seyi Odufowokan, said the gathering was geared towards bringing all party leaders and members together to rub minds on the forthcoming general election towards achieving cohesion among members.

According to him, “The meeting assures genuinity as the meeting is held based on the structure of the party.”

He urged all members to actively campaign for APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to re-elect Lagos State Governor Bababjide Sanwo Olu in 2023.

He urges the party faithful to mobilize more new members and uphold party discipline at all times towards achieving victory in the forthcoming general election.

Similarly, the Tinubu Support Group ( TSG), backed by a member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, equally held meetings in 7 wards across Kosofe simultaneously.

Meanwhile, a source in Mr. Alli Olatubosun’s faction who spoke to our correspondent under condition of anonymity said that Alli’s remains the only authentic and recognized Ikosi Isheri LGA APC Party Chairman by the state chairman.

“Please do fact check with Alhaji Alli about the authentic LCDA Party chairman.

“No doubt that there are aggrieved party members due to the last primary elections and party Congress. We are in the process of talking to everyone and addressing their concerns,” he said.
