The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), through its candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos, Abdulwaheed Onanuga, has appealed to citizens to collect their permanent voter cards (PVCs) to enable them to perform their civil responsibilities in the 2023 general elections.

He made the appeal to this medium recently while highlighting how prepared the third force party, NNPP, is for the poll in 6 months’ time.
Speaking further, he noted that to a great extent, election process manipulation has been reduced with the introduction of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, developed by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to make citizens’ votes count.
The automated transmission of election results, among other things, has reduced fears of people tampering with results at collation centers after the election and improved poll credibility and transparency.
The NNPP House of Reps. candidate, Omotayo, said, “I want to seize this opportunity to appeal to everyone as INEC distributes PVCs in phases. They should endeavor to pick it and vote to bring about the visible, impactful, and measurable representation they have been yearning for.”
