The aggressive grassroots mobilization and penetration drive of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) candidates in Kosofe Constituency, particularly the House of Representative candidate for the Kosofe Federal constituency in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Comrade Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga has practically put the Kosofe APC house/Candidate(s) in disarray.
The divided and the threatened ruling party has now resorted to bullying and propaganda having seen clearly the handwriting on the wall that the people in the constituency have rejected their lies and empty promises.
For weeks and months now, despite several petitions to the different security agencies (who pathetically failed to act on them) the desperate foot soldiers of the sinking party/candidate had constantly been tearing off and destroying all the posters, banners, and other publicity materials of the New Nigeria People’s Candidates. And of recent, they have started attacking members of the opposition party and trying to stop them from campaigning in different wards.
And having failed in all of these desperado antics, the latest drama from their fuji house of confusion is all manner of propaganda to dissuade the moving train of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Kosofe.
The NNPP House of Representative candidate for Kosofe, Comrade Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga, popularly referred to as ABOO, while speaking on this appealed to all the good people of Kosofe Constituency not to allow the mad macabre dance of the sinking ship of APC to distract them from the work at hand of salvaging Kosofe from the hands of looters of our commonwealth. He confidently reassured ALL residents that he has not and will not STEP DOWN for anyone in the coming elections as he is poised to win at the polls.
He appealed to the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency to go out and collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and must make a statement with their votes. “If you sell your vote, at the end of the day, don’t complain,” he said.
He also promised that they will be intensifying their campaign to all the nooks and crannies of Kosofe over the next few days before the election and that their primary vision remains to change the governance and leadership narratives in Kosofe through a community-responsive, all-inclusive, and quality representation at the red chambers.
