Assuring residents of a quality job, Messrs. Fountain Construction Company, the contractor in charge of the Ogudu Alapere link road, has revealed that the less than one-kilometer project is roughly 70% complete.
During our correspondent’s visit to the project site beside Kosofe Local Government on Thursday, a representative who spoke on condition of anonymity explained that with enough commitments, the bulk of work remaining on the link bridge and the road network would be completed in about 3 months’ time.

He said work is ongoing daily at the project site and that the link bridge will be completed in a few weeks’ time. However, they declined to give a reason behind the delay of the project.
The Ogudu Alapere Link Road is a 9-month duration project that commenced over 2 years ago is designed as a 2-lane linking Ogudu Ojota and the Lagos-Ibadan Highway.
The reconstruction is expected to end gridlock and scale up the value of property in the area.
