Mr. Lanre Carew, Chairman of Farmcity International, is strategically withdrawing from supporting All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates and governance across the country.
Carew is among the biggest financial supporters of the party in Kosofe, which has slowed down since the controversial Kosofe constituency 1 House of Assembly primary election that purportedly produced the incumbent lawmaker, Mr. Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon, for a second term.
Unlike in Kosofe constituency 2, where local government chairmen, individuals, and groups of people have sponsored posters, banners, and billboards to support their joint party candidates, none is yet to be found in Kosofe.

Carew will purchase and brand several cars before and after the party’s flagbears emerge, as well as other campaign mementos for the party and its candidates.
He was also part of the headline sponsor of the 2021 Ikosi Isheri Magodo Cultural Festival, now Ikosi Isheri Ketu Magodo Cultural Festival.
However, according to our recent findings, his firm, farmcity was yet to support the forthcoming edition.
