No fewer than 200 residents of Agboyi Kingdom have benefited from the Ta’AWun Health Initiative, a free medical outreach organized to commemorate the two-year coronation anniversary of Olu of Agboyi, Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, on the throne.

The program, geared towards bringing healing to all, attracted traditional worshippers, Christians, and Muslims. But the message is the same. We are here to bring healing.

But not just healing, but also hope and transformation in a holistic way.
The exercise held at Agboyi 1 , on Friday was part of a series of programs packaged to make the celebration healthy and memorable.

The residents who attended the health talk section also enjoyed free tests and drugs, respectively.

The Chief Host Oba Monsuru, who kicked off the exercise, noted that health is wealth while commending the organization for their gesture to the good people of Agboyi ancient town and Kosofe at large.

Speaking with Kosofe Post at the venue on Saturday, the director of Ta’awun Kosofe and Ikeja LG, Lagos, Taiwo Azeez Yusuf explained the reason for the large crowd’s turnout as part of activities to grace the second year anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega.

Health education, sugar level monitoring, malaria screening, ulcer testing, and deworming were among the exercises carried out, according to Ta’awun representatives.

He noted that it is not just medical care. Adding to that, there is health counseling. And people are receiving all sorts of treatments free of charge. “Not just people from this community but all its environs.”
