The Olu of Agboyi Kingdom, area of Agboyi Ketu under Kosofe, Lagos Hrm Oba Monsuru Oladega, Akimasa 1, Arole Oyewole Marks one year on the throne.
Oba Monsuru ascended the throne of his forefathers after Prolong Litigations a year ago. Immediately he won the case he was presented the appointment letter by the Executive chairman of Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area, Mayor Dele Oshinowo which culminating in his installation amid covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
However, the Ogunloye, Owoyele, and Ogugangan families reportedly dissatisfied with the development further approached the court which also dismissed their case last month.
The judgement finally put all the barriers distracting the Traditional custodian of the ancient town, Oba Monsuru to rest.
To mark Oba Oladega’s one year on the throne, A 5- days series of programme has been put in place to make the maiden anniversary memorable.
According to the first year coronation anniversary/Isese Day 2021 programme announced yesterday boat regatta/gelede/Football Novelty Match/Agemo cultural display will take place on Wednesday, August 18, Egungu cultural display,( Thursday, August 19), Jumat service/ Special event Package (Friday, August 20), Indoor Games (Saturday, August 21), Thanksgiving Service (Sunday, August 21).
