The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area, Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe, in partnership with the Precious Sight Foundation, has kicked off a free eye medical treatment program for Kosofe residents.
On Monday, hundreds of residents stormed the headquarters of the council in anticipation of the three days of free medical treatment that began today.
The Kosofe Post reports that the exercisewould cover eye tests, medical prescriptions, free lenses, and frames for the poor and vulnerable.
Beneficiaries who had been nursing sight problems over the years prayed for theKosofe, an NGO, and wish them continuous success in their various engagements.
KP’s reports said that the exercise would run from December 19 to 21 at the Kosofe Local Government head office along Ogudu Road from 9 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
The council chairman, Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe, and cabinet members, the leader in council, Councilor Idowu Oluloro, and members of the Kosofe Community Development Committee, Olusegun Babatunde, and several others, attended the exercise.
