The community-based group made the declaration in a statement sent to the Kosofe Post on January 28, 2023.
The group coordinator, Philip S. O., implored the electorate to focus on candidates with articulated agendas and ignore candidates who felt a sense of entitlement.
While urging residents to pick their PVCs, think beyond political parties and vote for candidates whose service to humanity is second to none.
The group said they are not interested in who becomes the next president of Nigeria, governor, or Lagos East senator. However, appeal to electorates to vote NNPP Candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga, as member of the House of Representatives, and Farmcity International Chairman Lanre Carew, as member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Kosofe Constituency 1.
“Our only interest is the Kosofe Constituency 1 Assembly seat and the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat,” KISG said.
The Kosofe Post reports that APC Chieftain, Pa Samuel Omowo, a Member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, and several APC members have openly expressed their unflinching support for the SDP candidate for Kosofe Constituency 1, Lanre Carew.
