The Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, has called for unity in the party to enable members to prepare for future elections. Speaking during the official Commissioning and handing over 80-Bed Ultra Modern PHC in Kosofe, Ojelabi urged everyone holding political, appointive, and elective positions to ponder over what they would be remembered for when they are no longer there.

He congratulated Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye on his birthday and urged those present to ponder over their positions in the party and the legacy they could bring to bear while occupying those positions. Ojelabi noted that what one had accomplished while occupying a particular position was what mattered in the end, as everyone would eventually become an ex.

Ojelabi congratulated Agunsoye for his accomplishments and noted that what he had done in the last eight years as a member of the APC was commendable. He urged party leaders to unite for the betterment of the party, noting that they needed to have a formidable team to prepare for future elections.

The APC Chairman thanked Agunsoye for the opportunity given to him to address the people of Kosofe Federal Constituency after the 2023 general elections. He also urged committed and loyalists of Agunsoye to remember that the party came first before any individual, and everyone needed to come together for the betterment of the party.

The call for unity in the APC comes ahead of future elections in Lagos State, where the party hopes to retain its dominant position in the state. As the countdown to the next election begins, it is essential for the party to come together and present a united front to the electorate to secure victory at the polls.
