The late Senator Adebayo Osinowo, affectionately known as “Pepper iJebu,” continues to cast his vibrant influence even after his demise. During this year’s Ojude Oba festival, prominent personalities from the Kosofe Federal Constituency turned the late senator’s country home into a lively hub of celebration.
Senator Osinowo’s residence, fondly referred to as Ojude Pepper, had always been a magnet for the crème de la crème of society during the festival. However, since the senator’s passing, this gathering held even greater significance as political supporters, associations, and well-wishers thronged the Ijebu Ode home of the Osinowo family to celebrate Eid Adha and the glamorous Ojude Oba festival.
The distinguished guests were warmly hosted by Dr. Tunde Rabiu Osinowo, the senator’s eldest son, and his mother, Alhaja Mariam Osinowo. The event saw the presence of esteemed figures such as Hon. Kafilat Adetola Ogbara, the House of Representatives representative for Kosofe Federal Constituency. Also in attendance were Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the Chairman of Agboyi Ketu LCDA, Moyo Ogunlewe, the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Princess Samiat Bada from Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Tunde Soneye from the Kosofe Local Government Education Authority, Lanre Carew, the Chairman of Farmcity International, and several other notable personalities.
The transformation of Senator Osinowo’s home into a Mecca-like destination for the Ojude Oba festival left a profound impact on the attendees. The festive atmosphere, marked by colorful attires, vibrant music, and lively conversations, symbolized the enduring legacy of the late senator, who was known for his charismatic persona and unwavering dedication to public service.
