Retro Construction Company (RCC), the contractor responsible for the ongoing Demurin Road construction, has called upon residents of the affected community to remain patient as they await the completion of the project. In a phone interview with Kosofe Post on Wednesday evening, representatives from RCC revealed that the rainy season had posed significant challenges to the construction timeline.
Despite the weather setbacks, RCC assured the public that a majority of the concrete work had been successfully executed. The remaining tasks are expected to be finalized within the next few weeks. The company expressed its intention to initiate the spreading of asphalt as soon as the rain subsides, emphasizing the counterproductivity of conducting such activities during the wet season.
Addressing concerns of potential project abandonment, RCC stressed that this was not the case. Instead, they appealed to the residents of Kosofe to exercise understanding and patience during this critical phase. The company affirmed its commitment to deliver a fully renovated Demurin Road, ensuring that the community would soon experience a significant improvement in their daily commute.
While grappling with unpredictable weather conditions, RCC continues to strategize and make necessary arrangements for the smooth execution of the remaining construction tasks. The company’s representatives conveyed their gratitude to the community for their cooperation thus far and encouraged them to remain resilient as they work towards completing the project.
