The current Bariga LCDA chairman, Hon. Kolade Alabi emerged winner at the Commonwealth Local Government Conference election held in Kigali, earning the prestigious position of a board member.
The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku Local Council Development Area and PRO of Conference 57, Lagos State, Bldr. Olusesan Mayokun Daini has extended heartfelt congratulations to him.
In an official statement issued on Friday, Daini expressed admiration for Alabi’s dedication and leadership, emphasizing that this success not only underscores Alabi’s capabilities but also serves as a significant endorsement by the electorate. Alabi’s new role will see him representing the interests of West Africa, particularly focusing on Local Government affairs within the Commonwealth.
Daini added, “This achievement not only reflects his dedication and leadership but also signifies a significant endorsement of his capabilities by the electorate.” As Alabi steps into this role, Daini conveyed his hopes for a tenure marked by impactful contributions and positive developments in the service of the Commonwealth Local Government Conference.
Hon. Kolade Alabi, a lawyer and administrator, currently holds the positions of Conference chairman and National President of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON). His notable achievements and multifaceted roles position him as a key figure in the landscape of local governance and leadership.
