Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, under the administration of Mayor Dele Oshinowo, is poised to uphold its commitment to fulfilling election campaign promises as it prepares to commission the Housing Development Project, Greenwich Gardens today.
Back in the lead-up to the 2021 Local Government Election, Mayor Dele Oshinowo outlined a strategic vision during a media parley, emphasizing a shift towards housing development to generate revenues, thereby reducing dependency on federal allocations for critical sector advancements.
With approximately 19 months remaining in office, Mayor Dele Oshinowo’s administration has been proactive in delivering on its electioneering promises, as revealed by a review conducted by Kosofe Post. The much-anticipated Greenwich Gardens, a flagship project from his campaign promises, is set to be officially commissioned today by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The event is expected to draw a distinguished audience, including National Assembly members, Lagos State House of Assembly representatives, local government chairmen, traditional and religious leaders, political figures, private-public partners, homeowners, and captains of industries. The ceremony will take place at the Greenwich Gardens site, located at Chief Stephen Adeola Oyedele Road, formerly known as Ajelogo Market Road.
