Residents of two Federal wards in Agboyi are singing praises for Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, the Member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency in Lagos. The commendation stems from her groundbreaking Christmas palliatives initiative, which included the donation of two cows among other essentials to the Agboyi Island community.

Speaking exclusively to Kosofe Post, residents expressed gratitude, highlighting that Hon. Ogbara stands out as the first Federal lawmaker to extend such generous gestures to the two federal wards in Agboyi for Christmas celebrations.

Oloye Salami Oluwaseun, contributing to the “Tell us what’s happening around your Communities” section, acknowledged the rumored Christmas palliatives from the presidency to federal lawmakers. However, he specifically commended Hon. Ogbara for her outstanding efforts, emphasizing her role as the first female Kosofe Federal lawmaker in the last six months in office.

Oluwaseun stated, “She has done well in her steps thus far. In fact, during this Christmas period, our traditional rulers received a cow and other fringe benefits as festive palliatives. Also, party members and residents across the constituency received Christmas gifts and cash. I believe she has started on a good footing, and I pray she will end well.”

Despite the positive feedback, some residents in Kosofe disclosed to Kosofe Post that the distributed items seemed to favor APC members and the lawmaker’s supporters exclusively.
