Dauda Atitebi, the political praise singer renowned for his vocal support for Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, a member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, has now shifted his tune to laud the current representative, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, for her Christmas palliatives.
Recall that during the protests that ensued following Hon. Kafilat Ogbara’s emergence as the APC 2023 flag bearer against Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, Atitebi used his sonorous voice to launch musical attacks against Ogbara and other stakeholders, entertaining supporters of Agunsoye.
However, in a surprising turn of events leading up to the general elections, Atitebi, reportedly a beneficiary of Agunsoye’s camp, which provided him with empowerments such as a mini zuzu, popularly known as “Korope,” switched allegiance to vigorously campaign for the total victory of Hon. Kafilat Ogbara.
In a clip seen by Kosofe Post on Saturday, Atitebi expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Kafilat Ogbara for the Christmas package, praising her for bringing joy to the people of Kosofe during the festive season.
While APC members, in a private chat with Kosofe Post, commended Ogbara for distributing cows and rice for Christmas, some residents noted that her gesture seemed limited to APC members and sympathizers.
