The media landscape of Kosofe Local Government Authority faces a challenge following a 30-month intermission in the development of its official channels. The Kosofe Voice, initiated during the tenure of former Chairman Honourable Afolabi Sofola, came to a halt due to internal disputes between media handlers Mr. Giwa Diekola and the late Chief Press Secretary Taiwo Fadipe.
With the advent of Moyosore Ogunlewe Esq Kosofe’s administration, Taiwo Fadipe took the reins as Chief Press Secretary and introduced kosofenewstv.blogspot.com. However, the sudden demise of Fadipe left the information units in limbo, unable to access the website and social media handles for over a month.
This incident sparks a call for local government administrators, not just in Kosofe but across regions with similar scenarios, to appoint multiple administrators for their official platforms.
