Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Okanlawon, the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government Administration And Community Affairs in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has extended warm congratulations to the Oloworo of Oworo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Saliu, Elebo II, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Adewale Adenuga, Hon. Okanlawon lauded Oba Babatunde Saliu for his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment, and dedicated pursuit of the upliftment of his subjects. The lawmaker emphasized that the Oloworo’s reign has ushered in unparalleled growth, advancement, and prosperity for Oworonshoki land.
Hon. Okanlawon expressed admiration for Oba Babatunde Saliu’s role as an inspiration and role model for the younger generation in Oworonshoki, Kosofe 01, and Lagos State at large. He acknowledged the tremendous impact and leadership role the monarch has played since ascending the throne, contributing to the unprecedented development, calm, order, and peace in Oworonshoki kingdom.
The lawmaker described Oba Babatunde Saliu’s reign as a beacon of wisdom, benevolence, and cultural heritage, enriching the lives of his subjects. He highlighted the essential leadership qualities that have contributed to Oworonshoki’s peace and development, praising the monarch’s unwavering dedication to preserving and advancing the rich cultural heritage of the kingdom.
Hon. Okanlawon, on behalf of his family, constituents, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), extended warm birthday wishes to Oba Babatunde Saliu. He prayed for the Almighty God to grant the royal majesty more wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for a continuous reign of peace and development in Oworonshoki land.
As the Oloworo celebrates his birthday, Hon. Okanlawon prayed for sound health and many more years of selfless service to the people of Oworonshoki kingdom, Lagos State, Nigeria, and humanity. He expressed hopes for the continued prosperity, advancement, peace, and unity of Oworonshoki Kingdom under the reign of Oba Babatunde Saliu.
