The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kosofe Chapter is in mourning following the untimely death of Chief Yomi Alausa on Tuesday evening.
Chief Yomi, a former chairman of the Kosofe PDP, was reportedly rushed to the hospital as his health took an unexpected downturn. Unfortunately, despite efforts to stabilize his condition, he succumbed to the inevitable.
The news of Chief Yomi’s passing has sent shockwaves through his family, friends, political associates, followers, and supporters. Many expressed disbelief as they had seen him in seemingly good health earlier on the fateful day.
A collective prayer for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace resonated among those who knew Chief Yomi Alausa. The sudden loss has left a void in the hearts of the PDP community in Kosofe.
In accordance with Islamic rites, Chief Yomi Alausa’s final resting place will be at his residence located at No 20, Oshokoya Street, off Segun Salau Street, Ayedere Ketu. The burial ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 am today, where family, friends, and well-wishers will bid farewell to a man who played a significant role in the political landscape of Kosofe.
