The Supervisor for Youth at Agboyi Ketu LCDA, Hon. Mutiu Kalejaiye, has urged Prince Ibrahim Oladega to issue a sincere apology rather than perpetuating false narratives.

Kalejaiye’s call comes in the wake of recent attacks on the council Chairman and the subsequent denial by the alleged sponsor.

In a statement on Tuesday, Kalejaiye called on journalists, including Just News, to refrain from reporting on matters they lack knowledge about. He emphasized the veracity of the allegations against Prince Oladega Ibrahim, stating that he witnessed the events firsthand.

“If Prince Oladega is not the architect of the attack, why did he attempt to apologize?” Kalejaiye questioned. He further highlighted the role played by Olori Oba Oladega and Baba Oba in influencing Mayor Dele Oshinowo’s decision during an inspection.

While expressing his disappointment, Kalejaiye advised Prince Oladega to apologize instead of seeking excuses to justify his actions. He reiterated Mayor Dele Oshinowo’s stance, emphasizing that aspiring for the Chairmanship seat from Agboyi town should not involve using violence or making baseless accusations.

“Both Prince Oladega and I have shown interest in the Chairmanship position. I advise us to seek support and endorsement from the party leadership through peaceful means, rather than resorting to physical violence or social media campaigns,” Kalejaiye stated.
