In a heated exchange of words, Hon. Kalejaiye Afolabi, a prominent cabinet member of Agboyi Ketu LCDA, confronted Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila’s Special Assistant on Political Affairs, South-West, Prince Kehinde Oladega, regarding his claims of victory in the 2023 general elections in Agboyi. The confrontation arose following online reports attributing the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the presidential and governorship elections to Ibrahim.

While extending his congratulations to Ibrahim for the commendation he received from the Speaker of the House of Representatives as the 9th National Assembly came to an end, Hon. Kalejaiye took the opportunity to shed light on the success achieved in Agboyi’s two federal wards. He emphasized that the triumph was the result of collective effort led by Mayor Dele Osinowo, the Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu LCDA, describing it as a team achievement.

Hon. Kalejaiye Afolabi stated, “Congratulations to my very good friend, Prince Oladega. However, it is important to put records in the right perspective. No individual can claim unilateral victory for the last general election; rather, it was a collective effort championed by Agboyi-Ketu residents under the chairmanship of Mayor Dele Oshinowo.”

The Kosofe Post, a local news outlet, reported that two federal wards in Agboyi, situated within Agboyi Ketu LCDA, along with one in Ikosi Isheri, were among the three wards out of the ten federal wards in Kosofe that played a pivotal role in delivering victory during the presidential election.

Victory of an Election is a collectives efforts. The two of them are right 👍👍👍. *MOY*

Hon. Afolabi Kalejaiye is right about the above subject , the victory of the last election is the collective effort of the Agboyi Ketu party leadership, members and the residence of our community. Prince Oladega Kehinde is not a grassroot politician in Agboyi Ketu and cannot solely claim the victory to himself. AGBOYI KETU !!! AJUMOSE NIO !!!

I don’t think we should generate this matter to this pls, the two gentle men that are talking are friends and brothers. Prince Kehinde is a grass rooter and Community man per Excellence. Himself and Hon Mutiu have done there best to Àgboyiland in difference capacity’s. I could remember during my tenure as Coordinator of Agboyi Students Union I knew the efforts of Prince Kehinde on Agboyi Community and our party in Agboyi.

“Election is a process that required general efforts”

Past Coordinator of Agboyi Students Union.

I wonder how and why an individual would claim victory of group.
In the same vein the same prince is claiming to be the sole mobilizer of the ongoing overhead bridge in Agboyi town.

For the sake of student of history, the ongoing overhead bridge was facilitated by the State Governor Mr Olusola Sanwo-Olu , Hon. Senator Abiru and the capable Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.

If otherwise my claims are wrong, I want the prince to share evidence of documents duly signed by him.

  2. Prince Kehinde Oladega claimed he delivered Agboyi-Ketu vote for Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu even though thousands of legitimate voters in Agboyi-Ketu do not know him.

This is a fraud on the Agboyi-Ketu residents. This is an embarrassment to our LCDA. Tinunu and Sanwo-Olu election win in our locality is as a result of the hard work of the Council Chairman Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the party leaders and for the overwhelming support of the residents and for keeping faith with the party and their presidential candidate.

From every indication, Mayor Dele Oshinowo gather as many votes for Tinubu as humanly possible. And this is not overly difficult in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, where Mayor Dele Oshinowo is doing a very good job of ensuring that the demands of the people are met.

Here are some of Mayor Dele’s contributions towards the election win.

1 House to house campaign across the seven ward.
2 Engagement and interractive section with the community heads
    3. Visitation to all religions body
4 Distribution of election materials to the resident
    5 Distribution of pallatives
6 Sensitization and awareness campaign to all artisans in the LCDA, and many more.

Please help tell Oladega to note is contributions toward his acclaimed victory. Thank you.

Nobody is generating any fracas and I believe we are all entitled to our opinion and I was responding to the headline of the post . The truth must be said. Our winning in Agboyi Ketu was a colective effort and to God be the glory. OLUFEMI OLAYINKA

I am sure MOY knows what I am talking about, I am talking about ongoing motorized Bridge in Agboyi town.

I wonder how someone without any political office in a Senatorial District will single handedly facilitates a huge project like that without effort from the council Chairman, the house of Assembly member, house of representative, and senate member in that locality?
