The passing of the esteemed Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka, has left a void in the hearts of many, described as a personal loss by those who shared close ties with the revered monarch.
In a heartfelt reaction to the sad news, Oba Abeeb Adeshina Faronbi, the Oba Elect of Oke Alo in Gbadaga Anthony Maryland area of Kosofe Local Government, expressed profound sorrow over the demise of his longtime friend and confidant, Oba Agbabiaka. Reflecting on their enduring friendship spanning many years, Oba Faronbi lamented the irreplaceable gap left behind by the late monarch, emphasizing the depth of their bond.
“I received the death of my brother, friend, and confidant, Oba Kabiru Adelaja Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo with great shock and sadness,” remarked Oba Faronbi. “This is rather unfortunate; he was an upright monarch who ruled with the fear of God and unwavering dedication to his people.”
Extending condolences to Oba Agbabiaka’s immediate family, the community of Isolo, the royal institution in Lagos State, and the Awori people at large, Oba Faronbi paid tribute to the late monarch’s legacy of service and leadership. “Oba Agbabiaka will be greatly missed. Goodnight, brother and friend,” he stated, mourning the loss of a cherished companion and pillar of the community.
