Guided by the wise counsel of his revered leader, the late Senator Adebayo Osinowo (fondly known as Pepperito), Prince Akintunde demonstrated exemplary grace by stepping aside in favor of the highly esteemed Late Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya, the Executive Chairman of the Ikosi Isheri LCDA.
Throughout Engr. Oyesanya’s tenure, Prince Akintunde provided unwavering support, actively bolstering his efforts during both his first and second terms. Sadly, Engr. Oyesanya’s untimely demise in January 2020 left a void in the LCDA’s leadership. As per constitutional obligations, Princess Samiat Bolanle Bada, the esteemed Vice Chairman.
AGAIN, IN 2021 AS A CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRANT:
In 2021, Prince Akintunde embarked on another ambitious endeavor, vying for the Chairmanship position of the Ikosi Isheri LCDA. However, his loyalty to the party prevailed, prompting him to gracefully step down in favor of the party’s chosen candidate after he was advised to to do so by our leader and father, Otunba Busura Alebiosu (The Bush). Through this selfless act, he reaffirmed his commitment to the party’s collective interests.
