Councilor Saheed Omogbolan Elewedu, the Majority Leader of Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area, has received a warm welcome as he enters the chairmanship contest, confirming his intention to vie for the position in an exclusive statement to Kosofe Post. His ongoing consultations have garnered positive reviews both within Kosofe Federal constituency and beyond.

Oloye Salami Oluwaseun praised Elewedu’s courage and determination to aspire for the esteemed office, noting the rarity of a councilor aspiring for such a high position in Kosofe. Recognizing Elewedu as an experienced grassroots politician, Oluwaseun emphasized the need for the next chairman to possess a blend of intellect, pragmatism, and a visionary approach to continue the progressive work initiated by the outgoing chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo.

Abdulwaheed Odunuga expressed excitement at Elewedu’s entry into the race, citing his commitment and charisma in serving the community. He highlighted Elewedu’s track record of achievements and widespread support as indicators of his potential to excel in the role.
