Olowe, who gracefully withdrew from the APC Kosofe constituency 2 House of Assembly Primary Elections, has redirected his political efforts toward massive mobilization campaigns, raising speculation about his ambitions for the LCDA’s top seat. Despite mounting pressure from his supporters, Olowe has maintained a strategic silence regarding his next political moves.

The political landscape is abuzz with notable figures eyeing the chairmanship position, including Councilor Saheed Omogbolan, former SLG Hon. Gbenga Osobu, Chief of Staff Toheeb Durosimi, legislative aide Ibrahim Oladega, public servant Abiodun Ogungbo, diasporan Femi Opabola, and the dynamic Hon. Samuel Olarenwaju Adabayo, among others.
