In the wake of a challenge to showcase achievements, a stark contrast has emerged among councilors across the Kosofe Federal Constituency, with some delivering remarkable progress despite limited tenure, while others face scrutiny for lackluster performance over extended periods.

The challenge, initiated by Engr. Olusola Adedayo, CEO of Moschino Blog, echoed sentiments raised by Adefemi Adeniyi, also known as Royal, who lamented the lack of tangible achievements by councilors despite their extended terms in office. Adeniyi emphasized that many councilors seemed to rally solely under the Chairman’s projects, failing to undertake initiatives in their own names for the benefit of their constituents.

In response, Adedayo praised Adeniyi’s stance and further alleged that his own councilor, representing Oworonshoki Ward A, had become virtually absent from the community, relocating and focusing on personal matters rather than serving constituents. Adedayo’s claims highlighted a concerning trend of councilors neglecting their duties and failing to deliver on promises made to their communities.

Efforts to reach out to Hon. Adewale Sunday Omofojoye, the councilor representing Oworonshoki Ward A, for clarification on his representation have so far been met with silence, adding to the growing scrutiny surrounding his tenure.
