Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, the former lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, has presented a luxurious Lexus ES 350 to Olusegun Apena, the Publisher of Kosofe Reporters. The news was shared by Apena himself on Tuesday in a statement to KosofePost.
Apena expressed profound gratitude for the car gift, calling it a “remarkable and unforgettable moment” in his life. He highlighted that this gesture from his “Leader, Mentor, Boss, and benefactor” is more than just a belated birthday present; it is a symbol of the values and support he has received under Agunsoye’s leadership.
“This exquisite gesture goes beyond being a belated birthday present—it is a visible manifestation of the values that have guided me in my journey under his mentorship and leadership,” Apena said. He added that the gift signifies the recognition of his “loyalty, dedication, commitment, resilience, and patience,” qualities nurtured by Agunsoye.
Reflecting on his journey, Apena recalled his appointment as a Senior Legislative Aide to the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, as another significant milestone facilitated by Agunsoye.
Expressing deep appreciation, Apena praised Agunsoye’s generosity and kindness, stating that the car will serve as a constant reminder of the importance of loyalty, perseverance, and hard work. “I am truly blessed to have such a remarkable mentor who not only guides me but also celebrates my milestones with such grace and generosity,” he added.
Apena concluded by offering prayers for Agunsoye, asking that God Almighty continue to uphold and elevate him.
