In a bid to address healthcare disparities and enhance access to medical services, the Ta’awun Political Forum and the esteemed Oloworo of Oworo, Babatunde Saliu, joined forces to host a transformative free medical outreach in the heart of Oworo Community. The initiative, held at the historic Oloworo palace, aimed to cater to the health needs of the underserved population, reaching over 200 individuals with vital healthcare services.

Under the shade of community spirit, attendees received comprehensive medical attention, including general consultations, blood pressure screenings, sugar level checks, and malaria tests. The dedicated healthcare team identified numerous cases necessitating further medical intervention, notably hypertension, diabetes, and malaria, reaffirming the urgent need for such initiatives.

Amidst expressions of gratitude, beneficiaries hailed the intervention as a beacon of hope. Aremu Hassan, the revered Apesin of Oworonshoki land, lauded the swift action of the Kabiesi and underscored the profound impact on community health.

The collaborative efforts of the Ta’awun Political Forum, the Oloworo of Oworo, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community leaders yielded tangible outcomes, including improved healthcare access, early disease detection, and alleviated pressure on local health facilities.

Looking forward, the partners advocate for sustained efforts to replicate such outreach programs, calling for continued collaboration with health authorities, increased funding for community health initiatives, and intensified health education campaigns.

In a resounding call to action, the Ta’awun Political Forum and the Oloworo of Oworo urge collective support for community health endeavors, emphasizing the transformative power of unity in fostering a healthier, more equitable society.
