According to his childhood friends’ accounts, his generosity started early in life. His Associates had unfiltered access to his wardrobe, picking every available clothes,caps and shoe without contemplating that Abiodun Ogungbo would ever complain. OGUNGBO, Lasiru Abiodun, a native of Lagos State, was born in early 1970. He received his primary education at Ansardeen Primary School, Victoria Island, Lagos, and continued his secondary education at Kuramo Secondary School, Victoria Island, Lagos State. He furthered his studies by obtaining a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Yaba College of Technology,, Lagos State. Additionally, he acquired a Postgraduate Diploma in Project and Resources Management from the Lagos State University and a Masters in Public Administration from Lagos State University.
A professional Accountant and tax consultant, OGUNGBO is a an associate member of the institute of chartered taxation of Nigeria, and a certified accountant and afellow member of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration. With over 24 years of service to the Lagos State Government, Known for his grassroots political involvement, he served as the spokesperson for the youth of Agboyi-Ketu in 1998 under the Youth Vanguard (AYC) and later as the secretary of the finance committee for Fashola’s campaign for Lagos State Governor in 2007. Additionally, he has held positions such as the chairman of Ketu Mile 12 and Alapere BATCO group in 1999, former secretary of the defunct ACN party in Agboyi-Ketu, and a member of the ABAT working committee, among other roles within the ABAT Movement.
We cannot but always thank Almighty Allah for giving Agboyi-ketu LCDA such a visionary and insightful man of God, a ladder to lean on to a sporadic success.
