In a ceremonious event at Mende Town Hall, Maryland, Lagos, the newly appointed State Coordinator of the Justice Forum, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, alongside his Deputy, Barrister Kolade Alabi David, and several state executives, took their oaths of office on Saturday.
Hon. Faleke, also Member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Justice Forum, a pivotal caucus within the All Progressives Congress (APC), for entrusting him with the responsibility to serve. In his acceptance speech, he assured the public that under his leadership, justice would be a cornerstone of governance in Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
“This assignment,” Hon. Faleke emphasized, “is not about personal gain but about ensuring that our state emerges victorious in future elections.” He pledged to address lingering issues and foster resolutions at the grassroots level across all local governments.
With confidence in his deputy and the state executives, Hon. Faleke vowed, “By the Grace of God, we will deliver. Justice Forum shall continue to prevail. Ododo loma leke.”
The ceremony, overseen by former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and GAC member, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, saw the appointment of Hon. Alabi Kolade David as Deputy State Coordinator and Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ as State Financial Secretary. These appointments underscored the commitment of the Justice Forum to effective leadership and strategic governance.
Prominent APC leaders in Lagos State also assumed key roles within the Justice Forum structure. Notable figures include Prince Tajudeen Olusi as Leader, Otunba Busura Alebiosu as Chairman, and Prince Rabiu Oluwa as Deputy Chairman, among others.
Additionally, the Justice Forum appointed leaders for each senatorial district in Lagos State:
- West Senatorial District: Alh. Sanyaolu Mufutau, Alh. Akinola Bashiru, Mathias Kutton
- East Senatorial District: Kehinde Salabiu Adeleke, Hon. Folami Muslim Olohuntele, Otunba Dengel Anifowose
- Central Senatorial District: Mr. Morufu G. Ojora, Mr. Yomi Adebayo, Hon. Kamal Bashua
The event concluded with the unveiling of other state executives, including Hon. Tajudeen Agoro as State Secretary, Salvador Adegboyega Adebayo as State Treasurer, Rasaq Liasu as State Auditor, Barr. Rotimi Ogunleye as State Legal Adviser, Barr. Sunday E. Kappo as Vice Chairman (West Senatorial District), and Hon. Olugbenga Oshin as Vice Chairman (East Senatorial District).
