In a heated exchange of accusations, Kosofe’s political scene is buzzing with controversy. Prominent members of the Governors Advisory Council, Otunba Bushira Alebiosu and Omoba Ademuyiwa Sosanya, watched in silence as Rep Kafilat Ogbara and Ikosi Isheri LCDA Chairman Samiat Bada clashed.
The friction began after a critical article, “Re-The Rise and Fall of Hon. Kafilat Ogbara: A Tale of Ingratitude and Malicious Ambition,” sparked a response from a senior aide to Federal lawmaker Taiwo Rotimi. The aide sought to clarify misunderstandings about the roles of local council chairmen in supporting Ogbara’s 2023 candidacy, labeling their involvement as a mere formality.
Ebenezer, the aide, highlighted Ogbara’s significant support in Bada’s rise from Vice Chairman to LCDA Chair, detailing how Ogbara’s backing was crucial in various campaigns and events. He accused Bada of not reciprocating this support, claiming it contributed to a rift between the two.
Adesina Lookman, Special Adviser to the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairman on media and publicity, countered these claims, accusing Ebenezer of spreading falsehoods. He asserted that Bada’s support for Ogbara was genuine and substantial, urging Ogbara to engage in an open debate to prove her support base and credibility.
