A member of the Kosofe Local Government cabinet, Mr. Abayomi Elugbindin, has expressed profound appreciation to political leaders in Kosofe, Lagos State, for the opportunity to serve and participate in personal development programs abroad. In a video clip posted by his wife, Ronky, on social media platforms Black App and TikTok, Elugbindin extended heartfelt thanks to prominent figures in Lagos East politics.
He acknowledged the leader of the Governor’s Advisory Council, Otunba Bushira Alebiosu, the Honourable Commissioner for Waterfront and Infrastructure Development, Yacoob Alebiosu, Kosofe Constituency 1 Lawmaker, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon, Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe, and Ibrahim Mustapha, among others. “Appreciation to all my political leaders and well-wishers,” Elugbindin wrote in the post.
Kosofe Post earlier reported that in 2023, Kosofe Local Council sponsored councilors for a five-day training in Dublin. Similarly, the Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area, under Kosofe, sponsored councilors, aides, and cabinet members to a training session in the United Kingdom.
However, despite these international opportunities, Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area councilors and staff, who were the initial initiators of the training programs, have quietly lamented delays in their travel plans. According to a reliable source, some visas for the program have been secured, while others are still pending.
