As part of efforts to promote health and community well-being, Ambassador Badejo Moyosore, an aspiring councillor under the Labour Party for Ward C, Araromi in the Ifako-Soluyi-Gbagada area of Lagos, has announced the launch of a new initiative. Dubbed the “Smile for Independence” Dental Outreach, the program aims to provide free health services to local residents on October 1, 2024.
In partnership with Captain Dental Clinic, Ambassador Moyosore has invited residents to join the outreach, which will feature free dental consultations, blood pressure checks, counseling sessions, and complimentary refreshments, including toothpaste.
The event will take place at Captain Dental Clinic, No. 4 Twins Obasa Street, Gbagada, starting at 8:00 AM.
“This is a chance for residents to prioritize their dental health and receive free medical services,” Moyosore said during Monday’s announcement. “We are excited to celebrate Independence Day by giving back to the community and addressing healthcare needs.”
This is not Moyosore’s first act of goodwill. Recently, ahead of the new school term, He distributed exercise books to students in an effort to ease the burden on parents facing economic hardship.
With her outreach and political aspirations, Moyosore continues to make strides in supporting her community while gearing up for the upcoming elections.
