The Kosofe Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) proudly announced that its standout pupils recently competed in a dynamic quiz contest hosted by the Legislative Council of Kosofe Local Government.
The event, which took place earlier this week, featured 18 primary schools from across the region in a fierce battle of wits and knowledge, with the ultimate prize being the chance to lead the council as a “One-Day Leader of the House.”
In a statement sent to KosofePost on Friday, the LGEA celebrated the achievement and highlighted the spirit of academic excellence demonstrated by the young participants.
“After an intense and inspiring competition, Kareem Moshood, a Primary 5 pupil from St. Agnes Nursery/Primary School, Maryland, emerged victorious. Kareem took on the honorable role of leading the House for a day, showcasing remarkable leadership and intelligence. He confidently presided over the session, closing the day with poise and skill,” the statement read.
The LGEA emphasized that this special event was more than just a competition; it was a hands-on experience in public service and governance that left lasting impressions on the young minds involved. Teachers and pupils alike reveled in the excitement and sense of achievement that marked the day.
As the LGEA celebrated Kareem’s win and recognized the dedication and hard work of all participants, they noted that this milestone reflects the strong spirit of excellence fostered in Kosofe’s schools. “Let’s continue to cheer on our future leaders,” the statement concluded.
