In a statement released on Saturday and made available to KosofePost, Mr. Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi issued a stern warning about potential fraudulent property sales involving his estranged wife, Mrs. Folasade Gbadamosi.

Gbadamosi highlighted that the properties in question, including Amen Estate and Amen Estate Phase 2 on Eleko Beach Road, Ibeju-Lekki, are assets belonging to Redbrick Homes International Ltd. He noted that these properties, along with other assets under Ashlead Estates Ltd, are part of the marital assets from his 21-year marriage to Mrs. Folasade Balogun Gbadamosi, also known as Folasade Balogun. The division of these assets is currently being contested in a cross petition before the High Court of Ogun State.

“I am aware of the frantic efforts by Folasade Balogun Gbadamosi, my estranged wife, to hurriedly liquidate and dissipate these assets to unsuspecting buyers in order to foist a fait accompli upon the court in her sham petition, which claims that our 21-year long marriage produced no marital property for division and distribution,” Gbadamosi stated.

He warned potential buyers that any purchases made from Mrs. Folasade Gbadamosi, under company names such as Redbrick, Ashlead, Tiara Gardens, Emerald Bay, Emerald Park, and Amen City, could be at risk of being deemed fraudulent conveyances. These sales could potentially be nullified by the court as attempts to sidestep the judicial process and infringe on his legitimate interests.

The statement concluded with a caution to the public: “Anyone who buys ANY property from Folasade Balogun Gbadamosi and her privies runs the risk of later losing the said property upon the court finding the sales to be fraudulent conveyances aimed at overreaching the judicial process.”
