In a vibrant display of sportsmanship and community spirit, Ikosi Primary School in Ketu, Lagos State, celebrated its annual inter-house sports competition with great fanfare. The event, organized under the auspices of the Kosofe Local Government Education Authority (KGLEA), honored Prince Ademola Sikirulahi Adekoya Alebiosu, the Otunba designate of Odomola Kingdom, by naming “Pink House” in his recognition.
The competition brought together students, teachers, KLEA representatives, parents, and the Otunba designate himself in a shared celebration of the importance of sports and healthy competition at the primary school level.
Reflecting on the occasion, Otunba Alebiosu expressed his admiration for the school’s emphasis on holistic development. “It is truly inspiring to witness how the teachers and school management have fostered a culture that values both academic excellence and physical development. This commitment to shaping well-rounded pupils is commendable,” he said.
Adding to the excitement, Pink House, named in honor of Otunba Alebiosu, emerged as the overall winner of the competition. Sharing his joy, he remarked, “I am especially happy to share that Pink House, named after me, has claimed the top spot. My heartfelt congratulations go to Pink House and to all participants for their incredible performances.”
