The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, has distributed welfare packages to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across seven wards in the local government area.
The initiative, which totals ₦11.5 million, allocated ₦1.5 million to each of the seven wards and an additional ₦1 million to the Local Government Executive Committee. Comrade Olúwọlé Òbísànyà, Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, revealed the details in a statement issued on Friday morning.
According to the statement, the gesture aims to ensure that party members and executives can fully enjoy the festive season while also acknowledging their contributions to grassroots party structures.
“This act underscores the administration’s commitment to grassroots engagement and the welfare of its members, reflecting a tradition of inclusive leadership and community support,” Òbísànyà stated.
